    In a shock move just minutes ago the US Treasury has re-pegged the dollar to Gold, reopening the Gold window and fixing the price around $700 more than last spot trade. Still coming across the wire:

    USTREAS: BELIEVE WILL SOLVE US DEBT PROBLEMS
    USTREAS: GOLD PRICE SET AT US$1800
    USTREAS: GOLD WINDOW REOPENED
