The XJO isn't as coupled to the US market as in the past. There's a flow on effect but the beta correlation isnt what it used to be due to the China phenomena;and that's not a mirage as anyone who's visited Beijing can attest. Also worth noting Fridays falls in the Dow were concentrated in a few stocks led by GE but the more representative index the Russell didn't even break its three day lows. Seems like some people are getting their rocks off looking into an abyss that isn't there.
