My view is that nearmap have handled their transition to a paywall in Australia well. Introducing the vertical tools subsequent was the key. Those lessons learnt would give them ernormous confidence in their offshore plans. The American government would have access to excellent satellite imagery, so I don't think they will be the consumers of the nearmap product. I would be very surprised if nearmap fell short of their U.S. goals. The CEO seems possessed.
