In the GIS professionals industry, ESRI is the one.
I have had some involvement selling GIS-type measuring devices, and the question asked by almost every GIS professional that I was taking to was "does your device link to ESRI?"
Making nearmap available to ESRI users is IMO a significant step forward with the GIS professionals (who are different to the GIS-skilled-amateurs such as solar installers, planners, engineers, etc).
