The demand will only get stronger as population gets larger world wide.
In addition as the current populations of china India Indonesia and other developing nations build infrastructure, housing and fill them with all the goodies of a modern western lifestyle.
Just think of the improvements in Australia in the last 40 yrs. Toilets that flush , paper that comes on a roll and you don't have to soften by rubbing together before use.Hot water heaters, running water ,electricity, dishwasher.
Tv ,vcr ,dvd,mobiles ,phone ,aircon,computers,fridges,cars,bikes ,ipod,play station, and all the sporting equipment you can imagine.. not just a cricket bat or footy.
This list goes on.
All this needs huge amounts of cheap energy like never seen before and all in the next 40 yrs.
