Maybe NABI holders want their dividend and also keep their biota shares - $1.27 for biota shares is still a steal (70 cents is an absolute steal)

$1.27 equals a market cap of around $240 million, which is close to the BARDA LANI grant

So maybe it was case of NABI insiders crying bad deal, bad deal, bad deal, and now the deal is done they have are very happy coz they got their cake and can eat it to ( they got a cash payout and get undervalued biota shares)

But I speculate because I have no idea whether NABI have gone ex-dividend
