Thank you for your response that in most places was helpful. However I think you are misunderstanding my question and where I am coming from. I am aware that it is not an apples and apples comparison when I was talking about conversion efficiency for the reasons you state. My questions were 2 fold and I will try to phrase them as correctly as I can;

1) Are there any products that have been commercialised on DSSC that are selling in any volume? This to me would validate the technology without the need for the second question.

2) Where is the evidence or what would make us confident that the claims that I have read on parts of this thread which perhaps can be summarised as "DSSC has similar efficiency but at much cheaper cost" are valid? In other words what makes you confident that a product can be delivered that is economic and will be sold.

It is easy for me to understand the potential of the product, it sounds amazing conceptually. But can we convert sunlight into electricity at a reasonable cost?

Appreciate any guidance you can give.
