You are right Pilks does have a proud history in glass making and certainly early on their technology was a large part of that. But over time their position deteriorated like many western companies and eventually it fell into NSG's clutches. In the end I think they welcomed the takeover with open arms as the Japs paid a silly price to get global scale.

I assure you this is not a campaign to besmirch Dyesols partners but I was asked what I thought of them and I do have a view on them.

But I say again, as I have already said, that doesnt mean their technology it totally crap and that they will not come up with something special. All I said (or meant to say) was if I had to make a choice of partners they wouldnt be at the top of the list. That is all.
