us soldiers prevented from leaving service

show on foreign correspondent last night made mention of over 100,000 US soldiers, who when there term had expired, were then prevented from leaving the service. watso forgets the term that was used, but a soldier would initially sign on for x number of years, and would expect to be able to leave after he served his time . however the government is not sticking to its side of the agreement

is sure to do wonders for the morale of the soldiers concerned. it appears that some of these soldiers (and probably the extended family) could be tempted to vote for obama, who wants to get out of iraq
