When you understand that the US armed forces are having trouble keeping existing soldiers, let alone enlisting new ones, then you understand why talk of invading Iran or taking on Russia is so comical.
To listen to some of the posters on HC you would think the US could invade another 20 or 30 countries, no problems. How silly these people are.
You can bomb from the air as much as you want but you cannot take control without ground forces and those ground forces are getting harder and harder to attract.
I am willing to bet good money that there are moves in the USA to bring back the draft. Will they be successful? I dunno but it is the only way they will be able to have the numbers they need to remain number one in the world.
