    With so much gold held in US reserves, what are peoples thoughts on this scenario:

    The US is printing money madly because they want to let the inflation genie out of the bottle. This will in time help their sub prime losses as the value of real estate increases.

    By hitting the printing presses hard, this will cause Gold to skyrocket and in time they can use these reserves to pay off the debt they accumulate.
