The US don't want to have a higher dollar because it hinders exports which they want to encourage. The lower the dollar the more attractive it is for all exports.

If they inflate Gold, commodities and housing they will very quickly pay off the majority of their deb't as they will have enough equity to match it.

With interest rates now at or near zero there is nothing more to do other than print money and encourage inflation which will eventually come to bite us all on the butt.

Gold is the key to saving the US so just watch out how the US manipulate the price once again for their advantage.
