Content is the Elephant in the room and any company QFX or the like coming into this space and ignoring it will have a big hole appear in their revenue bucket.
That said; content, even for the likes of Apple and Google seems a hard target. This is a new field so QFX is building slowly.
I see it as a catch 22 scenario. Content providers are not going to strike deals with retailers who don't have enough viewers and viewers are not going to come without content.
My belief is that to own the space of streaming, which has plenty of growth, you must have content and have it exclusive.
If it is not exclusive it is then just a plain old price war.
I like the way QFX is playing the game so far, just need more exclusives.
IMO I think it will build content and end up with an offer from a bigger player wanting to acquire subscribers.
