Putin's boys and girls in Congress are dangerous. I don't underestmate them but on this occasion they have been wildly inconsistent.

The original Putin mantra was that US "warmongers" were making huge profits over the bodies of dead Ukrainians. The current Putin mantra is that US taxpayers are losing money on the war. Putin's trolls predictably argue that the money would be better spent on Trump's wall.

Both stories can't be correct.

As I see it the value of the forward military procurement pipelines will far exceed anything currently being given to Ukraine. Washington based commentators appear unable to do a proper tally on this.
