Hi SP and all,

I can report from the UK that the employment situation over here is not much better, given the number of people here in the UK holding down one of the new zero hour’s worked contracts.

They sign the work contract agree to work as an when required; however, if they don’t get any hours of work they remain off the unemployed list and can’t claim benefit’s. How brilliant is that!

UK unemployment fell by 4,000 in the three months to June leaving 2.51 million out of work, says the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

I was thinking if the USA has a few dollars in the kitty for another overseas adventure Mr Obama could do a lot worse than sending Larry Summers and a bunch of their financial geniuses over to Iceland on a fact finding mission on how to restore an economy!
