You are happy destroying ADDITIONAL ecosystems with blankets of solar panels for relatively small energy returns?
That's fine, because they come with marketing saying they are "environmentally friendly"?
You seem to be under-estimating the VAST areas of land currently being cleared and devastated by solar farms around the world. The environment is currently coming second to greed from solar farm installs.
Mining causes destruction, but so does clearing vegetation and blanketing hillsides and farmland in sterile solar farms.
