I’ve been researching US Vanadium a bit after twigging that the announcement here  five days back was likely quite relevant to that strongly affiliated US-based business…

It specialises in batteries and vanadium for the aero industry and currently has two plants in Arkansas

The one in Hot Springs - currently with 54 employees according to the USV website - was only bought in October 2019 from a Russian conglomerate.

And  as we know USV shipped AVL its electrolyte plant and sent experts to advise on installation as well as sending several representatives to the official opening.

Anyway if you read the link to how USV acquired the Hot Springs plant  at which it seems to have been previously contracted) you’ll see the company came into being in 2018 as a private entity through the backing of some serious investors.. “Major investors in U.S. Vanadium include Techmet Limited, Elysee Development Corp., The Lind Partners, and other long-time leaders in the vanadium industry..”

And if you read up on the BOD [here’s the link again] you’ll see USV  has extremely STRONG  affiliations with Techmet  which counts the US Government as its’ largest investor ;
