but hey I wouldn't mind if Aus slammed 250% tariff on Chinese or other SE Asian made clothing. we lost a massive community employer when Howard and his brother shut down all the clothing factories.

Think you will find it was Whitlam in the 1970s that dropped the tariffs on textiles coming in. Then all the textile mills in Australia started closing down
