The US needs to keep the inflation thing on the front pages as they need a strong reason to raise interest rates to keep foreign money in the US to prop up their bankrupt!!! ecomomy.
Sure their is inflation but thats not why they need interest rates to increase.
Everything is manipulated, and another reason for this shake out is the US showing the reast of the world that they must continue to support it in all ways otherwise the world greatest consumer will take them all down with it.
The US$ is under seige as the worlds defacto currency, with Russia and Iran moving away from US oil $ and this is another reason why the FED is stirring.
I think the lesson would have well and truly been driven home for another year and think we are likely to see consolidation of markets over the next few months before another rally Nov through April 07 +-.
All the above is proberly a load of tripe so don't bank on it.
