    well now that the recession has "officially" started, thats GOOD NEWS. Means that we can plan for it to end.

    Although I must say, I often find this nonsense about the exact definition of a recession to be just that, nonsense. Keeps economists talking heads busy arguing about the accuracy of their own statistics but its not very important.
