How long does it take for these deals to settle? If I was the vendor I wish I'd held off for a few months and upped the price to reflect the US$120 + POO and Nymex Natural gas bull run. Like Selmo it seems to be development, not exploration, and there was a nice comment about how they expect Selmo to be producing at least 1000 bopd until at least 2020.
USA peaked natural gas production in 1973 and their most important supplier Canada peaked in 2002, with huge demands predicted for tar sands projects along with depletion. This will quickly force the USA to up its imports of LNG by sea, for which the infrastructure is far from adequate.
