USA Debt limit being increased to 31 TRILLION $$$ - woweee, page-22

I was not thinking of a default on treasuries.
I was thinking along the lines of a multipolar world where US treasuries are no longer as dominant as they currently are and therefore more printing has to occur to cover the shortfall and a downward spiral occurs.
At the moment the US is free to borrow and print as much as it wants and other than the current inflation fears there are no other consequences. US dollar is high, stocks are high, real estate is high, etc, etc.
At some point this must change. At some point investors will become cautious about investing in the US.
I am not a Goldbug (as pointed out by another poster) but I believe gold will be the beneficiary of some of those money flows (which is why I am in Kcn and read this forum).
Another question to do with this is why are many central banks buying physical gold when they haven't bought for the past couple decades? In fact they were sellers. This must tell us something about gold vs bonds
