One could say that the US is virtually caught in a checkmate position.
Now China is slowing down, that effects US exporters to China. It was done without much warning. So the US has to quickly seek another avenue for its surplus exports.
To do that, the US dollar shouldn't rise so as to be able to compete with their exports into Europe.
Increasing interest rates too quickly could make the dollar rise and it is bad for business anyway.
One could deflate so as bring in some sanity? That would call for harsh measures and could cripple the US economy so heavy in debt themselves, particularly the private sector.
So, where to go?
Wait till after the election and see what happens!
