Bob Hawke was an absolute disaster, these latest rape allegations made by a member of his own family should have caused his total banishment from the books, records and histories of Australian politics and caused his elimination from the ALP even questions to be asked of whether the ALP could continue as a party.
But so far nothing. The ALP has not apologised, it has just given it the silent treatment.
I guess that is why the Government is so bad. The ALP is so tarnished, no one with a family could ever in good conscience vote for an Opposition so tarnished by scandal, lack of welfare and health towards minors especially women and children (Hawke, Orkopoulos, Wright, Shorten, Setka, Albanese, Daley, Foley, Landeryou).
