i saw a similar order go thru for tamiflu about a week ago-
This is a great find and proves that the us govt is taking future mutations evolving from this and other potential pandemics very seriously - as i said before they were caught with there pants down. and until now no-one really new how long vaccine production/distribution would take in a real time emergency - now they now 9-12mths.
This really strengthens the antiviral market no end - future stockpiling balances and protocols will be tightened and adjusted with further legislation - and biotas royalties will be set in stone for the forseeable future- i just hope gsk puts the price up to at least match tamiflu - under the current circumstances it warrents being priced higher
