AWB afraid of being black balled by the Iraqis if they exposed it shut up and hid the payments.

Everyone expected the sanctions to be dropped because they were falling apart anyway. We all saw the hundreds of oil trucks crossing the boarder with Kurds taking commission to see it safely through via 9’s 60 minutes.

The bureaucracy as usual from the UN to Australia failed to pick up the obvious. Crikey it was the Canadian wheat group that pointed out something appeared wrong first!

Why am I just so unsurprised by all this?

I doubt Vale, Downer or Howard had faintest idea this was going on.
