Depends how many think like you. The Reserve bank was right, we can talk ourselves into a recession. Even a depression. I know people that will not take a holiday because they are scared of the economy. They are no worse off financially but just in case that extra $2,000 may save them one day. Enough people do likewise what they fear will come true. Then the $2,000 they kept aside will be worth diddly squat anyways. So take a holiday and do not lose sleep over it. Even during the depression majority people were employed.
