You might need to do a bit more research on the Crusades if that is your view.
I believe from a lot of research that the Crusades were initiated because the Christian world had been all but over run and for the race of people and Christian faith to survive they had to fight.
It was called the Moors back then. The name keeps changing but the game is the same.
You see, there was this profit fellow that came along, grabbed a hold of two previous works, plagiarised them and added some of his own ego. His world was one of carnage and after his teachings took hold, his strong armed followers took to continuing his way of life as taught.
They ordered blonde women slaves and castrated the male slaves. You may have been sucked in to thinking that the Harem's were full of willing participants. THEY WERE SLAVES.
Castration, slavery or slaughter were the only future for the races and the Christian faith so they fought. They didn't do as the other mob did and seek to cause extinction of the race or abolish their way of life that was only some 300 years old.
For completeness, I do not support the concept of our finest being sent to Syria so that our left wing media can accuse them of atrocities. (really those publishing the accusations would be seen as aiding and abetting the enemy if we were at war - oops aren't we?)
