Pleased to see this thread: I was driving around today listening to finance news on the radio and thinking exactly what other posters are thinking - we allegedly avoided the GFC, our economy is booming, we can barely meet Chinese demand, yet we are lagging the indices of all the other supposedly basket-case economies.
When the dow goes up, we don't seem to follow, yet when it drops we dutifully follow downwards.
Something is not right about the way this country is being managed.
