Has CFU missed an opportunity by not entering the USA market with the Bluegen unit.
I am not talking from a Sales perspective, I am talking from a PR perspective. We all know how much press Bloom energy has generated over the past 3 years and also how easy it has been for them to raise capital.
I realise there would have been costs involved and we are light on cash, but for example below, Julie Bowen (296,000 Twitter Followers), who most would know as Claire Dunphy from Modern Family is basically saying that she would buy a Bloom Energy Fuel Cell for her house if they had one on the market. Now this could be a paid tweet or whatever, but more likely that she is a Hollywood actor who cares about the environment. CFU could have given a few actors Bluegens for their houses and generated a bunch of exposure for the product in the biggest market in the world.
My point being that Bloom has such a well known brand in the US, once they launch a home unit, Bluegen will struggle to compete if we don't have 1st mover advantage!!!
