IF the USA wanted to get something (oil, in your fantasy scenario) by force it could easily do so...... And if fact much closer to home than in Iraq....... Venezuela is "just down the road" from the World's Superpower......It could "easily" have seen to it that monsieur (of senior) Hugo Chavez was ousted and a friendlier, pro-American President was installed in his place.....There are other, many in fact, examples that indicate to any rationally thinking individual that the USA IS NOT using force today......
