These are the traders that spend their whole day working for the big boys. It's their day job. They look for patterns and play them to perfection. They take some fundamentals into account, but in general, all they care about are profits. They have formulas to know IF they take on a stock, what to do with it every minute of the day. You really cannot let them worry you. You can never, ever outsmart them, and they don't go away. That is why I am a Technical Analysis trader (TA). I try my best to also look for patterns, as they would, and look to take a profit based upon a certain result. I usually do 2:1 risk reward and hope for a better than 50:50 result. It has worked for me for a while now, and whilst I am nowhere near retiring, I do enjoy it. I don't ever get massive cash ins as some here will on this stock, but I also have no large losses (anymore). The old days of buying a stock on fundamentals and hope are gone for me. Many a dollar made that way, but many more lost....
