With or without DTC, Americans are buying DTR and it looks like they are buying significant amounts, even with the $50 fee.
For me, this is a long-term hold (for you it could be very different) so I know that (again) with or without DTC, DTR will get to the same place, just with fewer American shareholders (although I don't doubt their earlier claim that they actually want to buy everything).
So, once all the current shareholders have decided whether they are staying or going then we shall see a more settled share price.
This is, of course, my own opinion and it is garnered from company announcements, various reports, news items, and even talking to SB from time to time.
I am also learning lots along the way; like: the Americans trade with a very different mindset to the Australian investors. And they are not shy about sharing what their agenda is.
