Everything he said has happened in other series of the original Alone.

You would be smashed out of your gourd if you took a drink every time someone in the original series told the camera how hard, tough, in touch with nature, absolutely going to be there at the end etc etc etc. Only to be out in one or two episodes.
One bloke started crying when he thought he was having a heart attack and quit.
Another bloke lost his fire starting ferro rod and quit because starting a fire without it was too hard.
Another fellow quit because he heard a bear. Didn't see a bear, heard it.
Every season has a couple of people who are tough as old boots and won't quit no matter what. But there are more soft as F people who are there for early story arcs with the producers knowing they won't make it.
And as for this w*nk3r saying he would last longer, I would take that bet. A perfect example of unconscious incompetence.
