    Hi Alice ….
I had thought Brian Wall may well be too ethical to ‘inherit’ this company in a prime role.
Everything I have read of him (some links were posted previously on HC - here are two [03/09/21], and [Ben Hume Leadership Award] indicate he is caring towards staff, pays attention to detail and is extremely focused on the radio network side of the business …….
….And that he had no idea of what was going on in regards the past (what I see as) long term ugly games played by the parent ASX company in cohorts with his past bosses, the now departed AEM leaders.

He was also described by @rpg - in a now-deleted post - as being someone who will “blow in the wind”.

But my opinion is based on small evidence.
    Have you met him personally?

From the restructure notice of June 20
    [Link to notice]

With a CVM licencing-based integration with AEM’s existing infrastructure and expertise plus access to pre-existing AEM marketing and sales networks, the newly restructured board seeks to achieve key outcomes including:

    • improved efficiency regarding personnel and staffing and associated cost reductions
    • better real time meaningful interaction with potential Northern Hemisphere Aerospace clients,
    • greater monitoring of realistic progress and increased accountability for that progress.
    • faster and more effective paths to markets and sales.

The new SMN board is committed to making the commercialisation of CVMTM easier, faster and more cost effective.

…so after all these years was this notice a recognition that past boards have NOT been committed to making the commercialisation of CVM easy, fast and cost effective ?
    The more I learn, the more I would agree with that;
The league of board members seem to have used the tech as a company yo yo, spun so as to profit themselves and insiders, … and I suspect one of the insiders has been Drake - at least until recently.

There has been little to show from the work of Rich Poutier although we are most recently told he has convinced a large airline to go and look at ways CVM stickers may be useful … one day . (A repeat of what shareholders were told plenty of airlines were already doing more than a decade ago).

….. And everyone here seems to be lined up in pro-Drake (the unknown) or pro-Mclarty camps (The gang of ‘naughty schoolboys’ )

But as you and some others have pointed out the forwards issue is who can best sell stickers.
Bryant Mclarty and Sam Wright are already out as far as I can see.
Ross Love to my reading has the most professional and competent voice of all in regards the current ‘noise’.

I’d like to see him manage the company for the next few months as he was employed to do and see what other refreshments he can bring to this company rather than making Brian Wall the chairman.

And FWIW to anyone out there Bryant was already on the way out.
He has already stepped down as chairman.
I have no fondness for him or the old Board ( - my early posts in this season -for which I was roundly panned- will testify to that)
But I think the situation here is one where that Board has put a restructure plan on the table.

A vote to keep Drake out is a vote to keep that plan in place
..and maybe lose Poutier for a Ross Love -selected CEO - who is independent of past ‘games’ who will work PROPERLY for CVM.

A vote to put Drake will achieve ….. What??
Faillace has said nothing bar a possible US-listing might be on the cards.
What else might be on the cards ?

    cheers
