The IMF recently gave its imprimatur to the Rudd govt to continue spending as recklessly as they like.

So maybe they will continue to give grants to all and sundry.

If you are lucky enough to be on the receiving end of this largess,then you are laughing.

If not bad luck.

Take a look at the Tourism industry.

I live on the Sunshine Coast and all we hear is how bad things are.

Local papers talk about Tourism industry being on 'life support'.

Things are grim yet house prices seem to be holding up in most places.

Something has to give sooner or later imho.
