I once chased the swings, but have learnt, never go against the 100day MAV at least. It's too painful. The 200day you can manage a swing but generally the 100 day gets you too many times.
Thats my experience anyway.
Right now I am waiting for the AUD/USD to bounce off the 100 day MAV and jump in, just after the 100day crosses the 200 day, It's been called the reversal to watch out for by FXCM, but still remaining cautious as a slump in indexes will punish it.
