We are entering the top of the cycle for currencies (thankfully). This is a 1985 or 2001 currency event in play. USDx (dollar index) is a basket of the 5 major USD pairs - JPY, CHF, GBP, CAD and SEK - but I feel CNY (yuan) would be exerting some influence based on China being the largest buyer of USD currency due to balance of trade (having replaced Japan). Trade and currency arbitrage would be alive and well. Just thoughts. DYOR.
