A few short weeks ago they introduced stock index futures trading for Shanghai and Shenzen bucket shops. Meanwhuile China's # 1 bank just today announces 11 billion US subprime exposure ........ multiply that by 6 for local "effect". Not much so far given the population of course and PRC's reglation is a safety net, BUT last thing we want right now is a concurrent reversal of trend of PRC bourses with the rest cos they are relatively new and HOTLY overbought disasters waitng for an accidental trigger ........ as are India's. Property values in S and S have actually started to come DOWN for other reasons as the Chinese regulators try to take some of the heat off them. U dont wnat them trying to hard right now IMO. IMBOOC
