    If I can claim it on my tax, I use the card.

    If I can’t claim the item as a deduction, I use cash.

    I don’t buy Krispy Cream doughnuts because they don’t accept cash, will walk away without my purchase if they only accept card payments.

    Don’t give my phone number or sign up to loyalty cards.

    Simples really.
