I am not here long enough to comment precisely on the 2 sets of figures in savings, but I won’t be surprised by the billions in potential savings over the next 10 years.
The virus outbreak in Wuhan at least 19 months ago has changed our lifestyle into much home based, which tend to involve minimal physical movement, higher propensity to over eat and drink if not binge, higher stress level from longer working hours unknowingly and/or knowingly, etc etc. Easy online eatery and liquor ordering with constant special offers could potentially worsen the overall situation?!
And, sadly, this change may be quite permanent for the foreseeable future, if not forever !
I certainly would not simply multiply $862m by 2.5 to forecast the potential savings over next 10 years?!
