Yes and in modernity it is EXACTLY the same group selected individuals yet again...literally you could take those from that epoch and transplant them into todays society unchanged and see exactly today's progressive and postmodernist social displays instead....it's only ever about the idea....todays idea's that impress this group of individuals are just different ideas in epoch....ideas will always exist it's what to do and how to mediate the personality type of people who get impressed by such ideas..this alone is the worlds most important civilisational quandary.
