What you are feeling yak is confusion, guilt and uncertainty. You realise that you doubt some of the things you have said. You realise that the Palestinians are not that different from jews. You realise that in their place you would probably react in similar ways towards their Israeli overlords.
Patriotism is not enough - when your country is the oppressor.
