Name one venture he has succeeded in? All I see are failures... but thanks to the fact that he is connected to every board or sits on the board of every biotech in Oz, he's able to derive a handsome income.
I shouldn't be too harsh on him, many of my ex-students work under him working on dud projects... sigh.
