Your own example makes my case; NdPr content went down from the ICE to the Mild ICE replscement.
This is not binary. Mild hybrids are bad for Lynas, not good, not certainly a nothingburger.
48V mild hybrids, should they be marketed as an environmentally responsible choice, or even if they are simply allowed to use the word "hybrid" in their msrketing, will depress the only market - traction motors - that is truly a source of much-needed NdPr demand growth, especially with China in a constant state of oversupply.
48VMFHs represent a serious downside risk to LYC shareholder happiness.
