I think what everyone needs to remember is that at the heat stage they are just working on building the talent for the finals. Once the finals kick in the marketing will start to be smashed out through sponsored performers, influence network, the judges, Sketchshe, PR, paid advertising etc to get downloads and people voting/interacting on the app. So as much as it would be nice to see download numbers now it won’t really reflect what’s actually planned to happen once finals kick in. That’s when the numbers will start to blow everyone away. The heats basically weed out all the hack performers so the actual comp can get underway. They’re looking at having the top 1000 with each artist adding new content each week of finals. So each week there will be a bigger and bigger viral push of content. For those investors sitting there stressing about the share price pull back, just remember this isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon and the management are working away as they’ve said they would. We’re still just at the beginning here. Look out in the weeks ahead!
