The poster said "ChatGPT4" (in the subject line, but not the post text) which is ChatGPT Plus, a more advanced and paid-for version of the original ChatGPT. You're right, ChatGPT has limited data to Sept 2020 and will refuse to give investment advice, particularly about specific companies. ChatGPT4/Plus is a whole different story, but I wouldn't consider it useful (yet?) for investment advice except for the textbook type of lessons.
