Plenty of sellers use similar techniques to entice buyers ie the old cliches
Fresh mown lawn.
Fresh coffee brewing.
Flowers on the table.
It's all a form of "dressing up" the property.
How many properties are put on the market with structural problems, plumbing problems, electrical faults, rising damp, mould, leaking cielings the list goes on and on.
You never read about any of those items being disclosed by the seller when they hand out flyer sheets on open days!
Caveat Emptor
Having said that, admitting on a public forum to having bribed a real estate agent who is supposed to act on behalf of the seller, is probably admitting to something illegal and I wouldn't be surprised if the poster is reported to the police.
