Hi All, . Just looking for some general comments on using my super in a SMSF to purchase residential property. I am in Brisbane and currently have my super balance with an industry fund. A few of the blokes I would with have been discussing the use of their super balances to invest in property. We already have 2 investment properties, one in Mackay and the other in NZ, so we are wondering if it is worth the risk/reward to use our super in this way. We are seeking financial advice through our accountant but I was looking for a few lived experiences from others who have used this approach for good or bad results? Regards B
