I totally agree - you should not trust strangers.
That is why you should manage your own super
within a DIY superfund.
The strangers are in fact the superfund managers
who buy assets on your behalf. No body really
knows who these managers are. But more importantly
you should be aware conflicts of interest arise when
leaving your money (super or otherwise) within a
fund manager. Their main concern is to increase funds
under management, this obviously means decisions in relation to management of YOUR money will not always
be in your best interest...
